Common questions
Do I need an account? No. There is no account, no login and no server. The app itself makes no network request, and everything stays on your iPhone.
Where is my data? In the app's own container on your device: your analyses as files, and their photos in the app's storage. Delete the app and its container is deleted with it. A phone backup includes it according to your Apple settings. Settings, Reset app data deletes every analysis and its photo; your settings stay.
Is my photo uploaded? No. The photo is processed on your iPhone: Apple's Vision finds the face and the sample points, and the colours are measured on the device. There is no upload and no server. The photo is kept in the app's container only if you save the analysis, and deleting the analysis deletes its photo.
Why is my result a "close call"? When two seasons are close, the app says so and names the neighbouring one as a second palette instead of hiding the uncertainty. You can move the sample points, answer the questions again, or choose a season yourself.
Is the app free? Yes. Every feature is included: the questionnaire, photo analyses without a monthly limit, every palette category, the full Try-On studio with saved comparisons, the share cards, CSV and PDF export, all lessons and the game. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no paywall.
How do I correct a result? Open the analysis and use "Adjust the sample points" to move a point on the photo, "Change the answers" to redo the questionnaire, or "Choose a season yourself" to set it by hand. Your own choice stands and is labelled; the measured estimate stays visible next to it. Every analysis in History can be corrected the same way.
How do I delete an analysis? Swipe left on it in History, or long-press it. There is a short undo afterwards. To delete everything, use Settings, Reset app data.
Why does the app warn about the light? Professional colour work refuses bad light, so the app rates the light: good, a warning, or poor. A warning records the reason and lowers the confidence; poor additionally points you to the questionnaire. It never blocks the analysis.
Why do I see a warning on very deep skin tones? At the deepest tones the measurement is at its least reliable. The app says so and suggests the questionnaire as the better starting point. It never blocks and never defaults you to Winter.
How do I get my palette out of the app? CSV and the PDF report are included. Both open the normal iOS share sheet; nothing is sent to us.
I found a bug or have an idea. Write to us through the contact form above. A screenshot and the iOS version help.
